CONFESSION OF FAITH OF THE
LAKE EUNICE EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH
To believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God, sent by the Father into the world as the Saviour of all who put their faith in Him. This congregation believes the Bible, the Old and New Testaments, to be the Word of God, and the only true and infallible guide, doctrine for faith, doctrine for life. Our faith is briefly stated in the Apostles Creed. We believe the personal, visible and imminent return of our Saviour and Lord, Jesus Christ. (Acts 1:10-11)

PASTOR DALE ROBBINS

Pastor Dale Robbins grew up in Grand Marais, MN. He moved to Detroit Lakes in 1976 to attend Detroit Lakes Technical School auto mechanics program where he met his wife, Patricia (Pat) Robbins. They were married in 1981 and made their home in Detroit Lakes. He worked as a mechanic and welder for Daggett Trucking in Frazee, MN for 20 years. Dale realized that God was calling him into full time ministry, and he entered Luteran Brethren Seminary, Fergus Falls, in 1996. In 2000, LEEFC called him to be the pastor. He was ordained through the Evangelical Free Church in 2008. He continues to serve the church today.
Our History
The Lake Eunice Evangelical Free Church had it's beginning as a bible study and prayer group in the homes. In the winter of 1893 it was apparent that they needed a church building. On March 12, 1893 with 26 members present, they incorporated as a church. A one room building was built with a cellar beneath. Across the road to the North was a livery barn built for horses to be sheltered during the services. In 1943 the church was moved across the road where it stands today. In 1976 an addition was added onto the back of the church, giving a larger kitchen and bathroom in the basement and a meeting room upstairs. In about 1984, because of growth in the church membership, the width of the church building was doubled by adding on to the North and East sides. During it's 125 years of existence, the Lake Eunice Evangelical Free Church has taught the Bible in all it's truth and fullness, to the glory of God, and edification of believers in faith, hope and love. The purpose of the church is to spread the gospel at home and abroad and to instruct young and old alike in the Word of God and Christian living.
